Are your inflatables inspected?
Absolutely! Your kids safety is our #1 priority. We also inspect inflatables each time they are set-up and we use a safety checklist.
Do I need a generator, or can you connect to my extension cord?
We must be within 75 feet of the electrical outlet. We can only use our GFCI cords and cannot hook-up to your extension cord. We must plug directly into the outlet. Using non-GFCI cords and being over 75 feet can lead to fire hazards, improper inflation, and likely power failures. The outlet must be dedicated to the inflatable without other devices on the same outlet due to possible breaker flips. If you are renting multiple inflatables or large obstacle courses you will need more than 1 dedicated outlet. If you are not within the 75 feet, a generator is required and can be rented for an additional charge. If needed, you must reserve the generator prior to your event.
Do I have to be present during the inflatable delivery?
An adult (18 years or older) must be present to show us where to set-up, sign required lease, operating rules, and provide final payment.
How do I make a reservation/payment?
All of our reservations are made through our online booking system to ensure available inventory. You can book online yourself 24/7, give us a call to book over the phone, or stop by our warehouse. A non-refundable deposit is required for each inflatable rental. It can be made online, over the phone, a check can be mailed to our PO Box, or you can come by our warehouse to do it in-person. Final payments are due upon delivery. Parks require full payment prior to delivery. Any checks that were sent prior to delivery must have been received by us or full payment is still due at delivery time. If you are unsure if we have received payment, check your online invoice or call prior to the event. Schools and churches are also responsible to have payment at delivery time. If paying by credit/debit card, there is an additional 5% service fee added to the remaining balance. Concessions and small games require full payment at time of reservation.
Do you deliver to parks?
Yes, we deliver to parks but it is your responsibility to check with the park to see what their requirements are. Some parks require us to complete additional paperwork and to be added to our insurance policy. There is an additional charge for the park to be added to our insurance. If you reserve at a park, you must be there at the delivery time and an adult must stay with the inflatable until we arrive back to pick it up. We make every effort to be there as soon as your event ends to pick-up. It is also your responsibility to make sure you have power available at the park for the inflatable and any concessions. See power requirements above. If power is not available, you will need to rent a generator. We require that full payment is received prior to the rental date for all deliveries to parks.
Do you refund money back if I need to cancel or due to inclement weather?
No, there will be no refunds once the items are reserved. We must have a 24-hour notice if you need to reschedule for reasons other than inclement weather or the deposit will be forfeited. Please remember that our inventory is being held for you so please let us know as soon as possible if you need to reschedule. In the event of inclement weather, you have the option to reschedule the rental but the request must be received by 5pm the day before delivery. If the unit is delivered, rescheduling is not an option, even if your event is rained out. Equipment will be rescheduled based on availability. You must reschedule the new date within 1 year of the original date or the deposit is forfeited.
The Caswell Bounce House reserves the right to require rescheduling under circumstances that will make the rental unsafe for you and our equipment. While we don't want to have to reschedule, the safety of your kids is the most important. These reasons include:
- Forecast of winds or gust 15mph or greater
- Forecast of significant rainfall during the rental
- Forecast below 40 degrees.
How long can I keep the inflatable?
All our rentals are for what we consider “all day”. It is usually about 8 hours, but we are not strict on the “8-hour rule”. If you need it a little longer just let us know when you make reservations and we will try to work with you depending on the delivery schedule. If you want to keep it over night (past 9pm) there is an additional $100 charge per inflatable. Pick-up would be early the next morning depending on if it is rented out the next day.
Will you deliver the inflatable the day before or pick-up the following day?
We work 7 days a week. We typically deliver and pick-up on the same day. It is likely the same inflatable is rented out the following day. If it is a really busy weekend we may ask to deliver the day before or pick-up the day after but it all depends on the delivery schedule.
Is there an additional charge to keep the inflatable until the next day?
Yes, if you need the inflatable for 2 or more days there is an additional charge. We can work with you to give you a discounted rate for the second day if scheduled in advance. However, during our busy season 2nd day discounts do not apply.
I only need the inflatable for a few hours. Can I get a discount or hourly rate?
No, our expenses are the same no matter if you keep the inflatable for 2 hours or 8 hours.
How much is delivery?
Our prices include free delivery, set-up, and pick-up within 30 miles of our warehouse-692 Nunnally Road N, Pelham, NC 27311.
In NC, free delivery areas include almost all of Rockingham and Caswell Counties. We also have free delivery to parts of Guilford, Alamance, and Person Counties. In VA, free delivery areas include Danville, parts of Chatham, Axton, and Alton. We do deliver to other areas in North Carolina and Virginia but there may be a delivery charge. Can adults get on the inflatables?
Yes, our inflatables are big commercial size inflatables that will allow for adults to participate. However, our pumpkin, 12 ft water slides, character themed, fire station, Toddler Farm Obstacle, and Wacky inflatables do have stricter weight limits and are designed for kids.
When will I know what time you are delivering my inflatable rental?
When you make your reservation, we ask for your event time. We deliver prior to this time and base our delivery schedule on this time so that we can ensure everyone is set-up prior to their party. We understand you may want it set-up earlier and that is ok but please put the event time and you can put in the comments if you would like it earlier. We just want to make sure we are set-up and out of the way before the party starts. If setting up at a public location we will need to know the time you plan to arrive and the event time. We will contact you the day before the rental to schedule the delivery time (usually a 1 hour window). This way we can look at all the rentals for the day and plan accordingly to have everyone’s rental set-up prior to their start time. Please make sure we have a valid number to TEXT you regarding delivery!
My party is at 2pm but you are delivering at 11am. Does my 8 hours start at 11am?
Again, we are not strict on the “8-hour rule”. Sometimes we have multiple events that start at the same time. We may need to schedule your delivery time several hours before your event starts based on our other deliveries for the day. If your event is going to be at a park, venue, or other public area, please let us know so we can make sure we deliver and pick-up closer to the actual time of your event. We do like to have all inflatables picked up by 9pm but sometimes we are super busy and everyone’s events end at the same time.
Will you donate an inflatable for our fundraiser?
Unfortunately, we get numerous requests for donations and do not offer inflatable donations. If we did, we would not be able to afford the inspections, insurance cost, and repairs that go along with an inflatable company. However, we have several options available to work with you for fundraising. We have a great fundraiser opportunity for schools that could possibly get you a FREE FUN Day with inflatables!
